Why I am so passionate about Spiritual Neuroscience?

The science of the NDE, which incorporates physics, cognitive neuroscience, information theory, complex systems theory, has the power to transform our society. This world is a school. It is an illusion created by our brains from information gleaned from the conscious universe. We are here to learn our lessons of love. These are scientific statements in the year 2020 and should be respected as such

Once we understand the science behind the NDE using the new disciplines of information theory, complex systems theory, theoretical physics and the like, our society will integrate these experiences into our collection perception of what is real.

When the long awaited reunion of science and spirituality occurs, there will be a collective "ahah" with a resultant societal transformation. Think about it! What if we truly understood that NDEs and science teach us that we are all interconnected! We are all part of one, that dualism is an illusion! We would understand, as Ziggy Marley wrote "that which divides us is an illusion".

Our political dialogue would be dramatically different. I just read about how a right supremacist group and a Black Lives Matter group met in Nevada, embraced, and had a constructive dialogue. I personally know a Jewish therapist who worked with young men who defaced her synagogue, as part of their sentence for vandalism. She listened to them. She asked them why they felt so strongly about white supremacy. She celebrated their heritage with them and chanted white power slogans with them. And at the end of their time together, they cried and expressed remorse and told her they were ashamed for what they had done. When we embrace the science of the NDE and the coming scientific paradigm, we will understand why this is the best way to heal hatred.

Our spirituality would be dramatically different. The message of Jesus Christ, Bhuddha, and so many other sages of the Axial Age would finally be realized. The concept of "do unto others as you would have them do to you" implies the current scientific understandings that space and time are not real and that we are all interconnected. This world is an illusion, created by our brains by converting electromagnetic information (light) to biochemical interactions processed by our sensory organs. Again, a nice example of modern cognitive neuroscience discovering and validating ancient wisdom.

James Burke writes of past paradigm shifts in his amazing book The Day the Universe Changed. Through understanding the spirit and science of the NDE, we will see yet another transformation of our society.

SPIRITUAL NEUROSCIENCE:

We must learn how to best use our brains to facilitate our spiritual self, just as a great musician must learn how to play a musical instrument.

Spiritual neuroscience is the scientific study of the mind/brain as a spiritual tool to help our consciousness learn lessons of love. For example, we know that our right brains process billions of bits of information every second. Yet we only use a small fraction of that to create this reality. Our brain serves as a reducing valve to filter the otherwise overwhelming billions of bits of information.

CONNECTING TO THE MIND OF GOD

According to Stephan A Schwartz (click here to access his website on the nonlocal mind) there are six scientifically proven ways to connect to the mind of God, which he refers to as "non-local consciousness".(click here for Pdf on these six protocols)

WHAT ARE NON-LOCAL PERCEPTIONS?

Non local perceptions represent information that comes to us by non-ordinary means. For example, this is the seminal article on remote viewing. Remote viewing involves non-local perceptions which can then be validated.

Reality is composed, at its core, of complex patterns of information embedded in energetic fields. Most scientists now describe material reality as being based on unseen energetic patterns of energy.

All that we perceive with our ordinary senses such as hearing, vision, taste and touch is "local reality", the reality that is all around us.

WHAT IS THE SOUL?

As Michael Shermer states: The Soul is the pattern of information that represents you - your thoughts, memories and personality, your self.

Reality is an energetic patterin of information. The soul is a pattern of information that is embedded in this greater non-local reality. Non local perceptions involve accessing that information. Examples include

What is The God Spot?

The God Spot is our right temporal lobe, right hippocampus and related structures. It is the part of the brain that consciousness uses to express a sense of self, access long term memories, connect to a "god", open oneself to the all knowledge non-local timeless space-less domain and have spiritual insights and understandings.

Mario Beauregard, in 2006, broadened this concept to the Spiritual Brain, meaning that spirituality and a link to "god" is more than just a spot.
